LAVA LAMP DISCO PARTY

We’ll turn the CAMP Club into a disco with our lava lamps as featured decor!
Our Counselor DJ will get us into party-mode and kids will get to show off their best disco moves

LAVA LAMP NIGHT LIGHT

We’ll provide dreamy add-ons like confetti, jellyfish, stars, rocketships and rainbows to turn our lava lamps into the most epic nightlight you’ve ever had!

STORYTIME UNDER THE STARS

After we create our glowing mason jars, we’ll gather ‘round for a story
We’ll draw the curtains of CAMP Club to create a dimly lit environment, perfect for testing out our glowing new creation!
Kids will get cozy and use the light of their new craft to help read our story

GALLERY SHOW

After each unique craft is created, we’ll put them on display around CAMP Club
Parents become the guests of our gallery and kids give the tours!
We’ll celebrate the individuality of all of our artists and reveal the coolest part of the collection - they all glow in the dark!

SENSORY SAND MASTERPIECE

This is not your average diorama! We’ll explore different scents, textures, sounds and bright colors to bring our craft to life
While we normally associate sand with the beach or the desert, there are no rules when creating this masterpiece - a fire-breathing dragon? A magical cotton-candy wizard? A glow-in-the-dark unicorn? The possibilities are endless!

LIONS, TIGERS AND BEARS, OH MY!

This animal-themed improv class celebrates all the senses through performance - can you move like a lion or rawr like a tiger?
Improvisational (or improv for short) games are a great tool for teaching children and helping them develop new skills. Through this form of play, children build friendships, strengthen language and communication skills, and learn about the world around them.
We’ll learn how to work together and problem-solve through fun games and challenges

PROP BAG

This game encourages creativity and “out of the box” thinking
One CAMPer will choose a prop and perform a short demonstration for the group using the item for a purpose other than its intended use. The idea is to use the prop in a unique or funny way (i.e. using a shoe as a telephone.) Counselors or Teaching Artists can get creative in selecting which props are available - the funniest results come from the most boring items!

60-SECOND FAIRYTALE

CAMPers will be encouraged to think up as many fairy tales as they can and write them down on little slips of paper - Counselors will assist younger kids
One at a time, each CAMPer will pick a slip of paper out of a hat and must act out the narrative in less than 60 seconds using just body motions – no talking!

SLIME DRIP MURAL

Get a piece of soft canvas fabric and attach it to a wall of the CAMP Club
As we make various color slime concoctions, kids will get smear or even throw pieces to the wall to create an epic communal masterpiece
